I was selected as an ARC reader for this second book in the Siels Series. To fully understand the story, I first read Interviewing Michael (see my previous review). I finished both books within a week and a half — which says a lot about how engaging they are.

Forgiving Milo follows Milo, Alli’s brother. Where Alli and Michael represent a deep, once-in-a-lifetime love, Milo is the complete opposite. He’s a music producer, used to one-night stands, and someone who doesn’t believe in love at all. To him, what Alli and Michael have is nothing more than a rare, almost mythical exception.

But what made Milo this way? What happened in his past to shape his views on love and commitment?

While producing an album for his father Hank and his band, Milo reconnects with Sofia — a girl from his childhood whom he doesn’t recognize at first. What starts as a chance encounter slowly turns into something more as they spend time together during the recordings. As their connection deepens, Milo begins to feel something he has always avoided.

But can Milo truly commit? And what happens when feelings he has long pushed away start to surface?

At the same time, Milo uncovers something Alli has been searching for a long time. A truth that could change everything. But can he handle it? And how will this secret affect his relationships — not only with Alli, but also with Sofia?

When the truth finally comes to light, the question remains: will Sofia be able to forgive Milo?

This story is filled with love, emotional depth, family bonds, and some spicy moments. It shows that even when things get complicated, unconditional love has the power to overcome it all.

A heartfelt and emotional story that proves even the most guarded hearts can learn to love.
