My Reading Experience
This novella was a surprisingly entertaining read! The story is short, sweet and straight to the point. There is no lengthy build-up before the sparks start flying, but the author actually prepares her readers for this in the introduction.
The chemistry between the main characters is convincing, and despite the short length, their relationship is portrayed well. There is a good balance of romance and spice, with plenty of the latter!
The storyline is clear and easy to follow, making this a quick and enjoyable read. It isn't particularly deep or complicated, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes you just want a lighthearted story that keeps you entertained without having to think too much.
Personally, I wouldn't necessarily want to find myself in a relationship like the one portrayed in this story. However, that didn't stop me from enjoying the romance and the chemistry between the characters. They get their happy ending, and sometimes that's exactly what you want from a romance!
